Vodafone UK have just listed BlackBerry 8520 as available on their page and the handset is available for free with Pay Monthly Plans starting from 25GPB. You can pick an 18 month or a 24 month contract, bundled with this device that sadly lacks 3G connectivity.
In case you’re missing the advanced connectivity options, there’s always Wi-Fi and GPS to use as consolation, both features being included on the new BlackBerry. There’s also a 2.6 inch display on board and a 2 megapixel camera, but the interesting thing about BlackBerry Curve 8520 is the fact that it supports iTunes syncing with computers that run Mac.
Actually, this is the first RIM device that syncs iTunes playlists, memos, personal info and much more with Mac PCs. Expect this feature to reach all BlackBerries thanks to the new version of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, coming in September.
