Verizon seems to be readying its second Android smartphone, Motorola Calgary, a handset we’ve found out about from last year. It’ll follow Motorola Droid, as the Big Red’s second Google OS phone and, just like Moto CLIQ, it’ll use the MOTOBLUR interface.
Calgary should pack a full QWERTY keyboard, 3 touch sensitive keys, a digital magnetometer, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, 3 megapixel camera, microSD card slot and support for Wi-Fi connectivity. Word has it that Motorola Calgary will be launched by Verizon this quarter, probably under a different name.
Price and official list of specs have yet to be confirmed or announced.
