Verizon seems to be planning a response for the recently-announced BlackBerry 8520 Curve, available on T-Mobile, by offering the public a CDMA version of the handset. The latter will be named BlackBerry Curve 8350, or Aries and its specs list will be largely similar to the GSM version of the phone.
Expect BlackBerry Aries to pack a 320 x 240 pixels display, a QWERTY keyboard, a 2 megapixel camera, OS 5.0, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi b,g. The handset will support 1xRTT and EV-DO connectivity and the release date of this device is a mystery for now, while the price should be about the same of the 8520 version ($129.99 with a contract).
