Verizon Wireless Prepares BlackBerry Storm 2 for October 25th Launch

Verizon seems to be preparing BlackBerry Storm 2 9550 for an October 25th launch, as a recent product inventory shot from Best Buy has shown. This screenshot below mentions that the Storm 2 dummy units will be hitting the carrier on the mentioned date, but the retail ones will either arrive earlier or after the dummies.

Among the info leaked today, there’s also a supposed price for the handset: $599 at Best Buy, without a contract, of course. BlackBerry Storm 2 9550 comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera, a GPS, Wi-Fi, a full HTML browser, a TFT display, a microSDHC card slot and it runs BlackBerry OS 5.0.
