Verizon Wireless Launches Motorola Entice W766

Verizon just brought on the market a new handset called Motorola Entice W766. The American carrier is having an intense activity, since this is not their first release this month, as Samsung Intensity, Samsung Rogue and Nokia Twist just joined the family.

It is good to know from the start that this is a cheap phone with reasonable features that may satisfy only a part of the public. We are talking about a clamshell phone that is meant to replace the now-aged Motorola W755 from the carrier’s range. As mentioned before, the device’s specifications are moderate, the handset being equipped with a 2 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities and a 2.2 inch display with a 176×220 pixels resolution.

The handset is 1x/EV-DO capable and it supports all of Verizon’s services (Chaperone, Verizon Navigator, V Cast etc). The cellphone also features Bluetooth, an internal music player plus a microSD expansion slot, to store all of your favorite music since the maximum memory capacity is 8GB.

You will be able to purchase this phone online starting September 22, but you will not be able to see it on the store’s shelves sooner than the moment when all the W755s are sold out. The device’s price is $39.99 with a 2-year contract, $109.99 for 1 year and $219.99 outright.
