Verizon Wireless managed somehow to deplete its entire stock of HTC Touch Pro2 units in record time. Of course, we’re talking about the CDMA capable version of Touch Pro2, released this month, featuring a 3.5mm headphone jack.
To mention some other specs of this device, the smartphone features GPS, a 3.2 megapixel camera, a 3.6 inch WVGA touchscreen, Wi-Fi and a 16GB internal memory that can be extended via microSD plus the TouchFLO 3D UI.
To mention something else about Touch Pro2’s connectivity, we remind you that it is 3G (EV-DO) capable and that you have a limited amount of GSM frequencies for roaming.
With all these phone features it’s no surprise how the US carrier having the largest number of subscribers, sold out this product. If anyone still wishes to buy this handset, you must not forget the fact that Sprint is still selling it and if you really want the 3.5mm headphone jack, be sure to purchase the CDMA version, as this is the only version carrying one of these.
