Verizon Wireless has just revealed its very own version of HTC Touch Diamond2, the Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone that follows the very successful Touch Diamond. Also, details about HTC Tachi and HTC Mega have become available. Back to Diamond2, it’s probable that its OS will support an upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5 later on.
Verizon’s HTC Touch Diamond2 supports GSM/CDMA, GPS, A-GPS and relies on a 528 MHz Qualcomm 7600 processor. Also on board, there’s a 3.6 inch touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera, 512MB ROM and 256MB RAM. The device should hit the stores this Fall for a yet unannounced price.
HTC Mega is a Windows Mobile 6.5 phone based on TouchFLO 2D and supporting HSDPA connectivity, while HTC Tachi will be getting the Dopod branding once it lands in China.
