Verizon decreases prices under $99 for a vast majority of handsets. This offer is available with 2-years contracts.
This typical case of mass price reduction announces that new phone models are on the way. Because Touch Pro 2 is about to be launched, its predecessor, Touch Pro also suffered a price reduction to $99, down from $419.
However there are two devices that escaped from this process: BlackBerry Tour and Samsung Saga, both of them having prices higher then $99. Since BlackBerry Storm 2 will not be brought on the market earlier then November this year, we don’t expect a soon price reduction of BlackBerry Tour.
