Orange UK to Launch Motorola Dext on October 7; Verizon Readies Sholes for October 30

Orange UK and Verizon Wireless are preparing two hot Motorola Android phones for this month, Moto Dext and Sholes, the latter being dubbed Droid or Tao. Orange UK will launch Motorola Dext on October 7, while Verizon will make Sholes available starting October 30.

We remind you that Moto Dext is the European version of Motorola Cliq, that will be available in the US via T-Mobile, with pre-sale starting on October 19. Dext is available for free, if you choose a 24 month contract agreement, going for $54.6 per month.

Sholes/ Tao/ Droid will be released at the end of the current month by Verizon and it’ll pack a 3.7 inch touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera, 256MB RAM and 512MB of storage, plus a microSD card slot.
