T-Mobile USA Ready Samsung T659 Scarlet and Nokia 5130 for September Launch

T-Mobile USA will be launching the Samsung T659 Scarlet and Nokia 5130 handsets in September, as we’ve learned from the folks of Unwired View. T659 Scarlet first surfaced as a rumour back in April and it’s a basic slider phone with 3G support and stereo Bluetooth.

Samsung T659 Scarlet also comes with email, instant messaging and a 2 megapixel camera with video recording. You should expect to see it in T-Mobile stores starting September 2, for a yet unknown price.

Meanwhile, we have a look at Nokia 5130 XpressMusic, that will also hit the market in September, lacking 3G support, but packing a QVGA display, a 2 megapixel camera, FM radio with RDS, a 3.5mm audio jack and stereo Bluetooth. This music phone will be available from September 16 and its price is unknown, at least in the US, while in Europe it retails for about $115.
