T-Mobile has just announced its plans to launch DVB-H TV services in Germany, so it started building a network of transmitters compatible with this technology. It’s all done through a partnership with Mobile Broadcast, a company that’s got some decent expertise in this field.

Expect a TV service to hit Germany by 2010, after the trouble caused by Mobile 3.0, the company who won the bidding for the TV service. However, they had to quit and hand back the license, because they couldn’t build the infrastructure needed for the service.
Can you guess what’s going to drive the growth of DVB-H TV? The most famous sport of all, football, but that also implies a decent amount of compatible phones on the market, something difficult to accomplish at this point.
