T-Mobile is now selling G1 online, the carrier’s original Android handset for $130 on 2-year agreement. We are talking about a $20 discount that is still insufficient to beat the offers of other stores like Amazon and Walmart that are trading this device for approximately $100.
A possible move of these stores could be lowering the phone’s price by $20 as well but only time will tell. For the ones not familiarized with this handset, G1 was the first device released on the market using an Android platform and it features a sliding capacitive touchscreen, a 3.2 megapixel camera and a full QWERTY keyboard.
Other specifications of this handset are its 528 MHz Qualcomm ARM processor, Bluetooth plus a memory card expansion option via microSD.
