T-Mobile will not sell any HTC Hero unit too soon. A fake rumor had been spread last week claiming that the popular handset will be launched in the US by T-Mobile.
This story proved to be a fake, as HTC themselves rushed to dispel it. Furthermore T-Mobile mentioned earlier that they don’t need another Android smartphone, since they’ve got myTouch 3G for this market segment.
HTC Hero is a powerful device and I bet many tech junkies were waiting for it. We are talking of course about an Android-based smartphone, with a 5 megapixel camera plus a cool Teflon coating for extra grip. But those interested mustn’t lose hope as it seems that Sprint will finally bring this phone in the US on October 11th.
