T-Mobile has just announced that it’ll cut the price of myTouch 3G to $149.99, down from $199.99. This pricing will appeal to new subscribers and upgraders, plus there’s the advantage of no mail-in rebate being required for this offer.
Expect myTouch 3G to reach the $99 landmark in the holiday season, with $149.99 being the Fall offer, for now. Just look at the iPhone 3G and its $99 price tag, that’s helping it sell like hotcakes, even if the 3GS is also performing well and Palm Pre’s no quitter either.
What’s the handset all about? Well, myTouch 3G comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera with video capture, games, video playback, WiFi, GPS, a touchscreen display, email and picture messaging.
