Sprint could be eyeing a new cash cow, after Palm Pre’s sales have settled and we’ve just found out that the FCC just approved the CDMA version of HTC Hero. This version, also known as “HTC HERO200″ comes with CDMA/EV-DO and GSM connectivity and should hit Sprint or Verizon pretty soon.
This turns Sprint into one of the few carriers to sell two Android smartphones, HTC Hero and Samsung Instinct Q. It’s interesting to note that the FCC also approved “HTC HERO130″ last month and this handset featured AT&T 3G connectivity. Which carrier will launch the HTC Sense UI-based smartphone first?
What do you think?
