Although Sprint’s CEO didn’t seem too keen on Android devices, his company might rethink this approach and even launch a few such handsets in 2010. This info was confirmed during the Brainstorm: Tech conference and it turns out that Sprint will follow T-Mobile in the Android phone adoption.
It will be interesting to see which devices make it to Sprint’s offer, since rumour has it that it’ll be a Samsung Android phone to go first, maybe the i7500? Some even go as far as claiming that Palm Pre’s seller will put out a WiMAX-support HTC Hero, but myTouch 3G is also a candidate.
The rumoured affordable Android phone Click could also make the cut and we’re sure that whatever the chosen handset is, it’ll come with Donut on board and CDMA support, so the users won’t miss out on the important features.
