Sprint has just announced the PHS300S personal hotspot and the MBR-1000 router, both with 3G/4G support. These products will surely interest folks that live in the areas covered by future and present WiMAX connectivity.
PH300S is a personal hotspot that, as well as the Cradlepoint MBR-1000 router supports 3G (EV-DO Rev. A) and 4G WiMAX connectivity. The first device is portable and supports up to 4 wireless connections at the same time, while the second is rather an enterprise item and a pretty stationary gadget.
The router allows no less than 32 connections at the same time and if you’re curious about prices, know that PH300S retails for $159.99 (telesales, online and in stores), while MBR-1000 can be yours for $249.99. In order to use them, you’ll need a 3G/4G data plan, that ranges between $39.99 and $79.99.
