Sprint or Boost should be ready to launch a iDEN-supporting Motorola ROKR handset, although I bet that not many people care about the old musicphone now that Android goodies are coming. If you’re a faithful iDEN customer, this is the device for you, at least till something better comes out.
Considering that Sprint and Boost are the 2 most important iDEN carriers in the US, they are the perfect candidates for the release of the handset. Wow, a phone that would have been cool in 2004 is ready to reach a future provider of 4G services… how about that? Kinda’ ironic, isn’t it?
