Rogers Wireless will start selling a new QWERTY slider called Nokia 6790 Surge. Rogers Wireless is not the first carrier in North America who trades the handset as AT&T is selling it too.
Although the device is not impressive, it’s still worth to be check out. It costs CA$89.99 with a 3-year contract and CA$279.99 outright. The release date still remains a mystery.
The specifications are not very poor but also not very hot, as the phone is equipped with a 2 megapixel camera, a 2.4 inch QVGA screen, a 2.5 mm headset jack and a microSD memory card slot plus Bluetooth. The device is using Symbian S60 3.2, a typical OS for Nokia’s handsets.
