Rogers seem to be prepping an 8GB version of the iPhone 3GS, an offer that Canadians won’t refuse, specially if the price is right. The carrier must have thought that the $199 iPhone 3GS packing 16GB storage is too expensive, but we wonder what’ll happen with the cheap 3G units.
I guess that we could expect to see the iPhone 3G being offered for free, but let’s not rush things and enjoy the new offer. Here’s what the official headline says: “Rogers 8GB iPhone 3G transitioning to 3GS”, so make of this what you want.
Anyhow, if this model reaches Canada, AT&T should also start selling it and cashing in big time.
