Orange UK decided to offer special tariffs to its British customers who accept to receive ads via SMS and MMS.
This aproach will take effect with the aid of the famous Finnish free carrier Blyk. Orange has over 16 million British customers who can take advantage of this offer.
Blyk is already using such a method in the UK with much succes. There are already over 200,000 members who get to talk and send SMS or MMS messages for free within a certain credit (usualy 15 £) every month. They receive in exchange a daily amount of up to 6 well targeted commercial SMS or MMS messages.
