Orange UK has just announced the very first Motorola Android phone, Moto DEXT, the European version of Motorola CLIQ. DEXT will hit the market in early October and it’ll be available for free with a 2 year contract that will make your £34.26 poorer each month.
This isn’t the cheap handset you were expecting, but you’re getting your money’s worth, that’s for sure, specially if we consider that the above-mentioned contract includes 900 minutes, unlimited texts and data. In case you don’t know what DEXT is all about, we remind you that it packs a 5 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, WiFi, GPS, a 1420 mAh battery and an accelerometer.
The new Motorola Android phone also comes with Android 1.5 (Cupcake), a physical QWERTY keyboard, a 320 x 480 pixels touchscreen display, a microSD card slot (support for cards of up to 32GB) and support for WCDMA/HSDPA/EDGE/GPRS connectivity.
