KT seems to be ready for some WiMAX action, since it’s preparing a Samsung Prism version with support for this type of connectivity. Korea Herald claims that this device will come to Korea, together with LG Lilac, with 3G support.
The same paper claims that KT’s Samsung Prism will be a tri-mode Windows Mobile phone, operating on the local WiMAX network and also supporting WCDMA and Wi-Fi.
What’s more surprising is that the device might be available in 2009, so translating this to the US market, this means that we might be seeing a similar launch via a Sprint and Samsung cooperation in 2010, let’s say Q1?
