KDDI au is not a name you hear often, but this is the most important CDMA provider in Japan, so this explains the hot handsets in their portofolio. A new addition is Hitachi’s Mobile Hi-Vision Cam Wooo, a high-def cameraphone with top notch video recording features.
In spite of the strange name, the phone is quite promising, since it comes with 30 fps 720p video recording, that should allow you to leave the handycam at home, when leaving for your holidays.
Hitachi Wooo is a series already, at least in Japan, but one can only hope that the products will move on to more Western locations.
