China Mobile is gearing up to launch HTC Qilin, the Asian version of HTC Whitestone, also known as Dopod T8388. This Windows Mobile 6.5 smartpone supports both GSM and TD-SCDMA connectivity and it resembles the design of Touch Pro2.
This is touchscreen-only device that features a 3.6 inch display with a 480 x 800 pixels resolution, GPS, WiFi, CMMB mobile TV and a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus. There’s also a VGA front camera on board, a 600 MHz TI OMAP 3430 processor, 512MB ROM and 256MB RAM.
Expect the handset to hit China Mobile in Q4 2009, as a flagship phone.
