Telus has just released a teaser involving bunnies, as usual and it seems that they’re readying something big for September 15th. What could it be? A new handset, a new service, maybe a promotion or a price reduction? Here’s the teaser we were talking about:

The Canadian carrier could be getting ready for a major launch, like the one of the HTC Hero smartphone, or maybe they’ll start selling an 8GB iPhone 3GS, like their fellow operator, Rogers Wireless was rumoured to. What do you think? The lesser surprise will be a BlackBerry Storm 2 launch, but still we’d dig it…

Telus has just made LG Keybo 2 available and this handset can be yours for $99.99, with a 3 year contract. Also, you can purchase it for $199.99 with a 2 year contract or for $249.99 with a 1 year commitment. A contract-free Keybo 2 is also available, for $299.99.

LG Keybo 2 packs a 1.56 inch external screen, a 2.6 inch internal display, a 3 megapixel camera (with video recording) and a brand new directional pad. As you can see, there’s also a full QWERTY keyboard incorporated and we found out that the phone is available in black and pink color versions.

TELUS just released a new candybar phone known as LG Masterpiece. This device is the Canadian market version of Glance, traded by Verizon in US. The specifications are rather poor, the handset being equipped with a 1.3-megapixels camera, for example.

Another shortcoming of this handset is the lack of 3G connectivity. Although the cell phone has some inconveniences it is worth to be mentioned, because it’s one of the few LG candybars in North America.

Its 11 mm thickness makes the device good-looking and it would have been more than interesting if it had a 3.2 megapixels camera and EV. We’re hoping these specs will emerge on a future version.

Although we would have expected the phone to be free on contract, the Canadian carrier demands about $46 with a 3-years contract.

Telus has just made Motorola A455 Rival available in Canada and you have to know that the handset is already available in the US via Verizon. We’re talking about a messaging phone, with a full QWERTY keyboard, Telus Navigator, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 2 megapixel camera a microSD card slot.

Moto Rival also features a 2.2 inch display, with a 176 x 220 pixels resolution, Bluetooth and 130MB of internal memory. Expect Telus to sell this phone for $99.99 with a 3 year contract and a pretty neat offer: a chance to win a day with Shiloh and 3 songs of the artist.

TELUS will launch LG KEYBO2 on 7th August. Although the handset is not as interesting as HTC Touch Pro2 (that has just arrived over the weekend), it is worth to be mentioned.

To specify some of its features, LG KEYBO2 will be equipped with a 3 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities, a 1.56″ external screen and a 2.56″ internal one. The phone will also feature a new interesting directional pad design.

The device’s prices are $129.99 with a 3-year contract, $229.99 for 2 years, $279.99 for 1 year and $329.99 outright.

If this cellphone will not be available on TELUS on the announced date it’s a high probability that it will appear at Best Buy. It remains a mystery how does Best Buy manage to release TELUS’ handsets before TELUS does.

TELUS, the famous Canadian mobile carrier brought today on the market two new handset models: HTC Touch Pro2 and HTC Snap, and yes, they’re both equipped with Windows Mobile.

Touch Pro 2 is selling for $649.99 outright and for $249.99 on 3 year contracts, while HTC Snap is noticeably cheaper, being sold for $399.99 and with the option of being purchased for free with a 3 year contract.

The devices’ hot specs make them suitable for all kinds of users. The features include Wi-Fi, GPS, email support, visual voicemail and Bluetooth. The actual talk-time for each handset is well over five hours.
