AT&T should be getting ready to announce more than Windows Mobile phones this Fall, since they seem to be preparing a brand new Nokia phone, Mural. The handset has just been announced at Nokia World 2009, that debuted today in Stuttgart.
This is an entry level S40 flip phone we’re talking about, resembling Motorola W series older devices design-wise. This clamshell feature phone is a tad disappointing, specially when it comes to specs: a 2 megapixel camera, a 2.2 inch QVGA internal display and a microSDHC card slot.
At least, 3G (HSDPA) connectivity is supported, as well as instant messaging and email, plus there’s a set of external music buttons to use. There’s also a couple of features to have fun with, like the customizable lighting options.
Nokia Mural should hit AT&T stores on Sunday, September 6th, going for $49.99 with a 2 year contract and after mail-in rebate.
