AT&T to Launch Palm Eos in October?

AT&T should be the next company to launch a promising Palm handset, following the success of Palm Pre, sold by Sprint and probably getting ready to reach other carriers, once the exclusivity deal ends. Also, there’s another handset to look out for, Palm Eos, or Pixie, that should hit AT&T in October.

Of course, this is a mere rumour, since a Morgan Joseph analyst mentioned that Eos will be available after the holidays, mostly because the $99 iPhone continues to rule the market, for now. Also, Taiwanese publication Commercial Times claims that the HSPA-supporting Eos will feature a 2.6 inch display and get launched in October, as we first found out.

A CDMA version should reach the market in 2010, Q1, but you wouldn’t want to bet your house on that.
