AT&T is the last carrier one thinks of when it comes to Android phones, specially because of the whole Apple rejection of the Google Voice apps issue. Now, we’ve learned that the famous iPhone carrier will be partnering with Dell, in order to launch an Android phone in the US, or so claims Wall Street Journal.
Dell already has the Mini 3i handset ready for the Chinese market and we also found out that this phone will be reaching the States in 2010. Expect it to sport a tweaked OS, not OPhone by any means, plus Wi-Fi and a cooler camera and probably some minor design changes.
It will be interesting to see AT&T turning into an Android phone carrier, specially considering that they made the iPhone popular in the US.
