AT&T seems to have decided to put an end to the painful wait of the phone with maybe the longest delay in history. Of course, we are talking about Garmin-Asus G60, a handset that was talked about even before the joint between the two manufacturers.
Apparently, the big day Will be the 4th of October and the lucky carrier will be AT&T. There were many expectations from G60 and not all proved to be realistic. The features are heavy but not out of this world: 3.2 megapixel camera with geo-tagging capabilities, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, full touchscreen display, microSD slot card, triband HSDPA and others.
The “piece du resistance” remains the Garmin GPS with preloaded maps that promises to give you a special navigation experience. You can purchase one of these handsets for $299.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate, with a 2-year contract featuring a $30 data plan.
