AT&T’s in full bloom these days, announcing many handsets, specially those that run Windows Mobile 6.5, like HTC Pure. Yesterday it was all about Samsung and Pantech, since the US carrier announced 2 models from each maker, Samsung Flight and Mythic on one side and Pantech Reveal and Impact on the other.
Samsung Mythic is a 3.3 inch touchscreen phone, with the TouchWiz UI on board and a design that looks just like the one of Eternity and Solstice handsets. This smartphone also features Mobile TV and it’s scheduled for a November launch date, with a price of $199.99, on contract.
Samsung Flight is all about messaging, specially since it packs a sliding QWERTY keyboard, plus a touchscreen display. Expect it to reach the local shops in November as well, with a $99.99 price tag and a contract plus rebates. We move on to Pantech and discover the Impact model, with its OLED touchscreen display, side flip design and full QWERTY keyboard.
Pantech Impact supports 3G connectivity and haptic feedback, plus comes with a secondary screen and a music player. Its price and launch date are a mystery for now and finally, we’ve found out that AT&T is also readying Pantech Reveal for launch. This slider sports both a numeric keypad and a QWERTY keyboard and it should be available starting October 18th, for an unknown price.
