Alltel has started selling two new handsets, Samsung Glint and BlackBerry Tour 9630, the latter being already part of bigger brother Verizon’s portofolio ever since last month. The CDMA handset is pictured below and it’s available right now in Alltel stores.
You can buy it for $199 with a 1 year contract, after a $100 mail in rebate, but the Smart Choice plan (that you’ll have to choose) can reach $69.99 or more. Quite a pricey offer, right?
Tour supports Alltel’s My Circle calling feature and comes with a 1400 mAh battery, that should last for 5 hours in talk mode and 14 days in standby mode. The new handset also features BlackBerry Maps, a 3.2 megapixel camera, 256MB of internal memory and 3G connectivity.
